Camera roll on your phone filling up with too many photos you don't care about? Worse - they're being backed up too? A quick fix to solve!
If you're an iPhone user, go to settings down at the bottom right, then select the chats menu option.
In there, change the slider to off for "Save incoming media". Now future photos won't be saved to your camera roll, or in your iCloud photo library which should help with the pesky message about your iCloud storage being full.
If you're an Android user, Download a file explorer app, such as ES File Explorer and then navigate to sdcard/WhatsApp/Media. Then, rename the “WhatsApp Images” and “WhatsApp Video” folders to “.WhatsApp Images” and “.WhatsApp Video” respectively.
